If you don’t like or trust your local pool company, call Zodiac directly for some authorized repair companies in your area. I’ve invested too much in my pool to have an unpredictable experience comfort-wise whenever the temperature shifts. If it were me, I’d be inclined to live with the first issue but I’d certainly get a pool tech person involved to evaluate the 2nd issue.

Your cheap solution will be to just mentally adjust the temperature and set your heater accordingly (assuming it is driven by the AquaLink).īut, if the temperature offset is different depending upon the absolute temperature (maybe something like showing 63 when the pool is at 70 and then 74 when the pool is at 85), then you’ve certainly got another issue going on. showing 59 when you know the pool is at 70 and 74 when you know the pool is at 85) then the odds are good that it really is just an out-sized calibration issue. If you are finding the pool temperature is consistently out by 11 degrees regardless of the pool temperature (i.e. Unfortunately your pool’s readings are well outside the simple calibration adjustment range provided in the iAqualink interface. Does the unit need service of any sort? It has not been serviced since installation. The unit was installed in May of 2011 and the pool is open from May thru September every year. There is a medium sized holly bush near the unit to act as a visual barrier, but only blocks one side of the unit and does not block any airflow (it has been there since the unit was installed).

I live in PA and I have noticed the error code over the course of the last 2 weeks. In each case the outside temperature has never been below 70 degrees Fahrenheit and I do not set the temp on the unit higher than 86. What I find odd and leads me to believe I have an issue is when it has occurred, the unit is cooler toward the bottom and there is visible condensation.

I have also tried cutting the power source and restarting to get the code to reset and start the unit again. This may be normal and perhaps I simply haven t ever taken notice, hence the reason for the question. Heating unit (Heatwave SuperQuiet R410A) currently runs, but has recently been shutting down, showing a FS code (outside air temp low) and failing to run. Posted on JAuthor adminMarc Categories Pool It took over two months of going back and forth with Zodiac before I finally got a helpful person on their customer service line who could say something other than “You need to contact an authorized service company before we can do anything”. “Take me out of here without changing anything”. This is completely counterintuitive since, to me, the “Back” button is equivalent to a “Cancel” key. In about 15-20 seconds you should see the “Pool Temp” reading on the home screen adjust to the newly calibrated temperature. Click the “Back” button until you reach the home screen again.Adjust the temperature using the arrow keys. What you want to do is, with the pump running so the temperature is registering: The issue here is there is no obvious way to actually adjust the temperature and APPLY the change. I do not have a Spa so only the Pool is showing a valid temperature. If you are finding your iAqualink unit is showing a temperature that is within 4 degrees higher or lower than your pool water actually is, you can go to Menu > System Setup > Temp Calibrate and get to a screen that looks like this one below. This was not obvious to me at all so I thought I would share it. 21 commentsĪrchives Archives Categories Categories Housekeeping adminMarc on Moving Back to Quicken from Banktivity (Long).Norman Dallura on Moving Back to Quicken from Banktivity (Long).Ann on Moving Back to Quicken from Banktivity (Long).
